This webinar will focus on the key resources, strategies, and ideas at the school and system levels for creating and sustaining inclusive and safe spaces for LGBTQ students and educators so that all students are respected and experience success. Participants will: Understand the value and importance of creating and sustaining inclusive and safe spaces for LGBTQ students and educators; Learn about specific strategies at the school, system, and policy levels that promote inclusive and safe spaces for all; and Share questions and feedback among a community of learners.

Presenters
Tracey McClain has 24 years of teaching experience in Lifetime Wellness and Physical Education and is currently in her 25th year of teaching in Metro-Nashville Public Schools.
Marissa Rathbone currently serves the 1,477 locally-elected school board members as the director of advocacy with the Washington State School Directors’ Association.
Michele Shannon is currently the national designer and facilitator at The Leadership Academy. She has a wide range of experiences as a classroom teacher, school social worker, school administrator, and district leader that inform the way she consults and supports school and district leaders across the country.
Nadine Smith is the co-founder and CEO of Equality Florida, the state's largest organization dedicated to ending discrimination based on sexual orientation and gender identity.
